Life Beyond the Sculpting Shed
Animals have always played an important part in my life, both as companions and as a source of artistic inspiration. My home is shared with a rather wonderful assortment of characters, each with their own distinct personality, habits and occasionally questionable behaviour!
Finding charm in daily quirks
My sculpting shed is where I enjoy bringing these observations together with my imagination. It's a quiet, creative space where ideas can develop naturally, sometimes taking me in directions I hadn't originally intended. Although I'm much happier expressing myself through my work than talking about it, I hope that something of my personality, humour and affection for animals comes through in the sculptures I create.
